privacy policy
who we are
RaderCo is a Health-Powered Performance company based in North Carolina. We do speaking, team training, consulting, and coaching. We also publish books, the Health-Powered Productivity™ podcast, the Weekender Snapshot newsletter, and self-paced learning resources.
This policy covers what we collect, what we do with it, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
It applies to helloraderco.com, marceyrader.com, workwellplaymore.com, and reclaimyourworkday.com (the "Sites"), and to the work we deliver to clients.
"We" and "our" mean RaderCo. "You" means anyone who visits a Site, subscribes, buys from us, or takes part in one of our programs.
what we collect
What you give us.
You give us information when you:
- Subscribe or request a free resource. Your name and email address.
- Contact us or book a call. Your name, email, company, role, and whatever you write in your message. Scheduling details come through our booking tool.
- Buy a book, guide, course, or program. Your name, email, billing address, and order details. Our payment processor handles your card. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Take part in a speaking, training, or coaching engagement. Your name, role, work email, and your answers to pre-session surveys, intake forms, commitment forms, and feedback forms.
- Work with a RaderCo coach. Session notes, goals, progress updates, and anything you send through our coaching platform.
- Give a testimonial, appear in a case study, or guest on the podcast. Whatever you agree to share. We ask before we publish your name or your words.
What we collect automatically.
When you visit a Site, we and our service providers collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, where you came from, and how long you stay. We also see whether you open or click our emails. Cookies do most of this. See "cookies" below.
what we do with it
- Deliver the programs, products, and services you or your organization bought.
- Shape a keynote, training, or coaching program around your team.
- Process orders, send receipts, and give you access to what you bought.
- Send the Weekender Snapshot and other email you asked for. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- Answer your questions and schedule calls.
- Measure how our Sites, email, and programs are doing, so we can make them better.
- Meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and protect our rights.
You go on our marketing list when you subscribe or opt in. Not before.
surveys and client engagements
When your employer or event host hires us, we often ask participants to fill out a survey before or after a session. The Performance Pulse Survey is the usual one. We use it to build the session around what your team actually needs, and to see what changed afterward.
Your organization sees the results in aggregate. We don't hand an employer one person's answers. When we quote an open-ended comment in a report, we strip out anything that identifies who wrote it, and we don't report a segment that's small enough to point at an individual. [CONFIRM: matches current practice
coaching records
Coaching conversations are confidential.
Your coach keeps notes to support your progress. When an organization is paying for your coaching, we agree up front on what gets reported back, usually attendance and the goals you set. What you say in a session doesn't go to your sponsor without your permission.
RaderCo works with a team of specialty coaches. They see your information only to deliver your program, and they're under the same confidentiality obligations we are.
how we use AI tools
We use AI tools for drafting, summarizing, and organizing. A person reviews everything that reaches a client.
Three guardrails:
- We use business accounts where the provider doesn't train its models on what we put in.
- We don't put identifiable survey responses or coaching session content into an AI tool. If we use that material, we take the identifying details out first.
- We don't let AI make a decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
who sees your information
We don't sell it. We don't rent it. We don't hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
It goes to:
- Service providers who help us run the business. Email, checkout and course hosting, scheduling, forms and surveys, coaching communication, video messaging, project management, accounting, website hosting, analytics, and AI tools. They can use your information to do a job for us and nothing else.
- RaderCo specialty coaches and contractors delivering your program.
- Your organization, as described in "surveys and client engagements" and "coaching records."
- Legal authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of RaderCo and others.
- A buyer or successor, if RaderCo is ever merged, sold, or transferred.
cookies
Our Sites use cookies. You control the optional ones through the cookie banner and the "Cookie Settings" link, and you can change your mind any time.
- Necessary cookies make the Sites work and remember your cookie choices. These are always on.
- Analytics and performance cookies show us how visitors use the Sites.
- Functional cookies run things like embedded video and social sharing.
Embedded content sets its own cookies. If you play a YouTube video or a podcast episode on one of our pages, that provider's privacy policy applies to what it collects.
How long we keep it
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep a suppression record so we don't email you again by accident.
- Orders and financial records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Survey data: we archive these and keep them indefinitely. Clients come back, and comparing a new round against an earlier one is how we show what actually changed.
- Coaching records: we archive these and keep them indefinitely. Clients come back too, sometimes years later, and the history is what lets a coach pick up where you left off instead of starting over.
- Website analytics: whatever our analytics provider keeps by default.
Ask us to delete your survey responses or coaching records any time, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep something. See "what you can ask us to do." Everything else we delete or strip the identifying details out of once we don't need it.
what you can ask us to do
Unsubscribe from marketing email any time, with the link at the bottom of every one.
Beyond that, email us and we'll:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and send you a copy.
- Fix anything that's wrong.
- Delete it, unless the law says we have to keep it.
- Stop using it for marketing.
We'll get back to you inside the window the law gives us. We may need to confirm it's really you first. If you live in a state with its own privacy law, you may have more rights than these.
if you're outside the United States
We're based in the United States and we work with clients in other countries, including Europe.
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we handle your information on one of three legal bases: to perform a contract with you or your organization, with your consent (marketing email and optional cookies), or for our legitimate interest in running and improving the business. You can also object to processing, ask us to restrict it, ask for your data in a portable format, and complain to your local data protection authority.
Your information is processed in the United States. Where the law requires safeguards for that transfer, we use them.
security
We protect your information with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures, including access controls and vetted service providers.
No internet transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll tell you the way the law requires.
children
Our Sites and services are for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.
other websites we link to
We link out to book retailers, podcast platforms, and tools we actually use and recommend. Once you're on their site, their privacy policy applies, not ours.
changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will tell you when. If a change is significant, we'll email subscribers and clients or post a notice on the Sites.
