How a Green Polka Dot Box can free up your time

by Health, Productivity

Do you dread going to the grocery?

Do you wish that the organic, non-GMO fairy would leave a gift on your doorstep?

Do you suffer from food issues or allergies and wish that you could only look at choices that you would be able to eat?

Do you want to pay less money for this deliciousness in taste and time-saving?

Enter Green Polka Dot Box.

Green Polka Dot Box is a single-source solution for people who don't have access to organic and/or non-GMO foods or who don't want to spend their whole paycheck at the grocery store. It's also for people who are busy and would rather be dealt thumbscrews than go to the grocery (that might be me….just sayin').

I can't remember how I found this gem, but when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease and had to stop eating gluten and soy, I spent over an hour in Earth Fare trying to find gluten-free foods and left with one grocery bag and $60 less in my pocket. There may have been a few frustrated tears too.

I went online that night and saw that not only could I purchase a lot of what I had bought for less money, they would deliver it to my door!!

And bonus….I can filter for gluten-free and soy-free. There are so many ways to filter it would blow your mind, but you can pick it back up and place an order because YOU WILL LOVE IT.

It is a membership service, much like Costco or BJs. This allows them to buy in huge bulk and pass on the savings. You don't have to be a member, but I made my $50 back within two orders. Since I calculate my time in $$$ (everyone should do this), not going to the grocery was worth it for me.

If the order exceeds $75 the shipping is free! Yeah! I buy my staples from GPDB once per month so it is easy to hit the $75 mark. They are always running specials, like the recent one for Blue Diamond almond milk and almond-coconut milk for 99 cents. Yes – 99 cents! One of these days, I hope they have a distribution center closer so I can get frozen products too.

I don't eat everything organic, but there are some things that, organic or not, I would still buy from GPDB. My favorite things to purchase are:

  • Spicy Chipotle Grab and Go Seaweed Snack
  • Nutiva Coconut Manna (O.M.G.)
  • Sprouted Raw Pumpkin Seeds
  • French Bistro wild salmon with vegetables
  • Mary's Gone Crackers Super Seed
  • Grass-Fed Spicy Beef Sticks
  • Cooked Quinoa Bowl
  • Nutiva Hemp Powder
  • Pizza Flax Snax

Save your time. Save your money.

This is health and productivity right here people.
